itled “POLYGON TORNADO” this Foundation Paper Pieced mini was designed via EQ7, constructed for and published in the periodical ‘Curated Quilts’ featuring Triangles. Segmenting the overlapping triangles, use of fabric color gradients, walking foot accents, silk thread, double wool/cotton batting all help to give it a 3-dimensional feel. Tight free motion quilting I call “Brain Coral” on the perimeter adds to the relief. The mini quilt has a hidden binding.
